Catch up with Author Bret Hurst

April's Off the Shelf is with Bret Hurst author of the Arrowhead Thriller Series: The Caveman Conspiracy and The Arrowhead Protocol. Find out what inspired the books, the author's writing approach and the path he took to get published.

Bret Hurst loves stories of all kinds and reads everything he can get his hands on, regardless of genre. He has always dreamed of being a writer and has been working on novels and screenplays for as long as he can remember. He grew up in Miami and worked a variety of places-from construction, nuclear power plant, ice cream parlor to Walt Disney World. Bret has degrees from Auburn University and Florida International University and is the CIO of a healthcare company. He loves to travel all over the world and resides outside Atlanta with his wife and three children.
